Announcements

Upcoming Transaction Fee & Billing Updates: Provider-paid transaction fee increases and aligned billing triggers take effect April 1, 2026. Contact the Customer Experience team if you didn't receive the formal notification sent January 28, 2026.

Platform Enhancements

  • Terminal Status Update to Escalated Review via API [JJWR-4842]: Orders can now transition from terminal status to "ESCALATED REVIEW REQUIRED" (DocStatusID = 'XE') via API UpdateOrderStatusRQ requests, enabling order revisions after final status.

  • Free Text Fallback for Review Summary Fields [CLCTUTD-18748]: New checkbox option in CMS Data Fields configuration allows manual data entry in the GAAR Worksheet when extraction fails for Standard and Custom Review Summary Fields.

  • Initiate Findings from CMS [JJWR-3761]: Feature toggle enables sending "EPC Findings" instead of "Service Events," switching from CREATE_SERVICE_EVENT to CREATE_FINDING patch for ManageTaskRq and AddComment actions.

  • Label Update on DNA Reasons [APPMOD-1234]: "Draft Not Acceptable Reasons" renamed to "Revision Needed Reasons" across user profile email alerts, admin dropdowns, and Advanced Search.

  • New Revision Needed Reasons CMS BI field [APPMOD-4502]: CMSBi introduces a new "Revision Needed Reasons" field containing identical information as the existing "Draft Not Acceptable Reasons" field during the transition period.

Platform Enhancements – UAD 3.6 Enabled Only

  • REO Loan Purpose [APPMOD-7976, APPMOD-4471, APPMOD-4470]: New "REO" option added under Loan Purpose for UAD 3.6 orders, aligning with MISMO 3.6 standards across order forms, bulk ordering, engagement letters, and fee/price plans.

  • Renewal Loss-Share Loan Purpose [APPMOD-7976, APPMOD-4471, APPMOD-4470]: "Renewal Loss-Share" removed as a Loan Purpose option on UAD 3.6 orders to align with MISMO 3.6 standards.

  • Bulk Actions for UAD 3.6 Products [APPMOD-7475, APPMOD-7684]: Users can order additional UAD 3.6 products via bulk actions. The system intelligently matches selections: Legacy forms apply to legacy orders, Products apply to 3.6 orders.

  • Revision Needed Override [APPMOD-7976]: Users can override severe review rule firing to advance orders through the lifecycle.

  • Living Unit Excluding ADU Count [APPMOD-8445]: Field now defaults to NULL instead of 0 when opening Review Only > Appraisal URAR Form.

  • Required Fields in Order Workspace [APPMOD-8445]: Mandatory fields in the Appraisal URAR Create Order form are now mandatory when editing/updating orders in Order Workspace tabs (Property, Loan).

  • Updates to Engagement Letter Module [APPMOD-8541, APPMOD-8413]: Users can add images/links to instructions and select all products when configuring order applicability. Access Instructions field settings now display in the Engagement Letter by default.

  • Hide "All Services" Product [APPMOD-8543]: ServiceId 2000 and ServiceID 0 removed from the Admin > Products configuration availability list.

  • Updated Search AppraisalPort Feature [APPMOD-8169, APPMOD-8082, APPMOD-8113]: Modernized the Search Appraisal Port results screen in the Users > Vendors area for easier profile viewing. New "UAD 3.6 Ready" filter limits results to appraisers with activated UAD 3.6 products.

  • Property Type [APPMOD-7461]: Fixed issue where Property Type wasn't displaying correct options on the Property tab for both legacy and UAD 3.6 order forms.

  • Product Maintenance Configuration Updates [APPMOD-8132]: "Hide in Order Form" option removed from the Products administrative tab since UAD 3.6 products derive automatically from order data rather than standalone form fields.

  • Removed Help link on Investor Submission tab [APPMOD-8422]: Help link removed; updated user guide articles now available through the new Document 360 tool.

  • Inclusionary list configuration update [APPMOD-8163]: Users can configure customers with ALL UAD 3.6 Products in the Inclusionary list via an "All Products" option.

  • Standard LOS Integration Validation [APPMOD-7976]: Additional validations ensure only UAD 3.6-valid values are accepted for Loan Purpose, Subloan Type, and Property Type fields on 3.6 orders; legacy values only for legacy form orders.

  • Property Details Collaboration Request update [APPMOD-8131]: For Integrated Providers, requests are rejected if the proposed value matches the existing system value (400 error: "Service Provider Processing Error: One or more of the Product Details provided match the current value."). In AppraisalPort, the "Send Proposal" button is disabled until a field is modified or a comment is added.

  • UAD 3.6 Review Sampling Updates [APPMOD-5192]: Review Sampling feature supports UAD 3.6 products. Users configure sampling groups based on UAD 3.6 products and legacy forms. Labels renamed from "Services" to "Products."

  • Easy Access to Investigate [APPMOD-8459]: Integrated Investigate launch button in the CMS menu opens Investigate in a new tab with automatic credential-based login.

  • Rent Schedule Update Requirements [APPMOD-8563]: "Rent Schedule" field on the Property tab is now a strict Yes/No selection; "Not Provided" option removed.

  • UAD 3.6 Feedback Channel [APPMOD-8168]: Temporary feedback link implemented for UAD 3.6 features including Investor Submission and Fee and Price Plan modules.

Usability Enhancements

  • Product Maintenance Configuration Updates [APPMOD-8543]: "All Products" service ID removed from the Administrative Product Maintenance tab to prevent inactive configurations and ensure administrative actions directly impact order behavior.

Issue Resolutions

  • In GAAR Viewer, scrub special characters in Text Addendum [CLCTUTD-16635]: GAAR Viewer no longer fails with special characters; worksheets render correctly; reviewers open documents without interruption.

  • CMS System Security [CLCTUTD-19258]: Regular maintenance activities support system security, protect user data, and ensure reliable performance.

  • Displaying Updated Order Details in Ports [CLCTUTD-19258]: Resolved AppraisalPort issue where Order Summary values disappeared after service provider acceptance; values remain visible and updated immediately.

  • Sub-loan Type Configuration [APPMOD-6606]: Fixed Admin-Preferences-Content page so an unchecked Sub Loan Type remains available for reactivation after saving.

  • Rent Schedule Edits [APPMOD-8563]: Fixed issue where the Rent Schedule value didn't save properly when edited through the Property tab in order Workspace.

  • Order Update Notifications [APPMOD-8488]: Corrected issue where notifications were sent to non-assigned service providers; only the assigned provider now receives updates.

  • Error on successful zip file upload [APPMOD-8424]: Resolved AppraisalPort error message displaying despite a successful zip file upload and submission.

  • Consume DUCaseFile/LPAKey data on Order Creation [APPMOD-8386]: Fixed issue where DUCaseFile and LPAKey values weren't consistently stored or transmitted to ports on UAD 3.6 orders.

  • Inclusionary List Weight Configuration Update [APPMOD-8165]: Removed mandatory "Weight" requirement when the Percentage Weight toggle is False.

  • Updates to REC Integration [APPMOD-8416]: Resolved 3108 event issue; SSRs, MISMO 2.6, MISMO 3.6 XML, and 3.6 ZIP file now correctly sent in the 537 event.

  • Investigate Integration Updates [APPMOD-8329]: Fixed application error from messages created in CMS on UAD 3.6 orders.

  • Stop sending Halogen 385 event on UAD 3.6 orders [APPMOD-8379]: No longer sending the 385 'FNC.AIReadyOnly' Event for UAD 3.6 products.

AppraisalPort Enhancements

  • New User Guide Articles and Help Tool [APPMOD-6706]: Help documentation migrated to a new format with a widget in the AppraisalPort bottom right corner. Users access updated guide materials; the existing video library remains available.

  • Legacy Form Indicator [APPMOD-7804]: New "Legacy Form" badge appears on all legacy orders, helping service providers distinguish between legacy format and UAD 3.6 standard delivery requirements.

  • Update Sub-loan Type [APPMOD-8563]: Fixed issue where the Sub-loan Type field on UAD 3.6 orders wasn't published to AppraisalPort when updated on CMS.

  • AppraisalPort integration update for On Hold requests [APPMOD-8303, APPMOD-8130, APPMOD-8129]: On Hold requests rejected on orders already in "On Hold" status or with outstanding Property Details Collaboration requests. Duplicate requests are blocked: "Cannot request order to be placed on hold while the order is already on hold." Requests are invalid if waiting on a Property Details Collaboration decision.

  • AppraisalPort integration update for Property Details Collaboration requests [APPMOD-8129]: Property Details Collaboration requests rejected on orders in "On Hold" status.

Looking Ahead

Q1 2026 priorities include:

  • Updating revision request presentation to service providers

  • Completing LOS integrations

  • Adding data points to the CMS BI reporting tool

  • Improving Log and Message tab usability
