Monthly ZIP Code, County, and City Data Updates Resume

Overview

Cotality is reestablishing monthly updates for ZIP codes, counties, and cities to maintain alignment with current USPS data and regional boundary changes.

Release Timeline

• Production deployment: March 14, 2026

• Testing availability: Now on UAT

• Monthly schedule:

  • DEV: 4th of month @ 6:00 AM CT

  • QA: 4th of month @ 7:00 AM CT

  • UAT: 5th of month

  • PROD: Each scheduled Saturday release

Data Changes (Through December 2025)

Note: Connecticut Planning Region changes are excluded from this update; a separate communication is forthcoming.

System Impact

• CMSnet and CMS Stand Alone: Automatic updates post-deployment

• CMS Ports: Updated geographic validation

• Recommendation: test automated routing and territory reporting in UAT
