Cotality Collateral Investigate release: Enhanced UAD compliance, checklist management, and review workflows

This September 23, 2026 production release delivers enhancements to checklist management, review workflows, findings management, rule compliance, and tiering functionality. The update also includes usability improvements and fixes designed to improve review accuracy, workflow consistency, and overall platform reliability.

What's new

UAD compliance updates

• Added support for the latest Appendix H-1 UAD Compliance Rules v1.5 updates to improve compliance validation and rule coverage.

Review workflow enhancements

• Summary comments are now optional during finalization, giving reviewers more flexibility when completing reviews.

• Added a Return to Review option within the More Actions menu to streamline review workflows and support faster issue resolution.

Checklist enhancements

• Introduced an improved checklist sorting experience to make checklist navigation and organization more efficient.

• Dynamic checklist date fields now use a consistent date format across the application and generated PDF artifacts.

Findings management improvements

• Review artifacts generated through the Generate PDF option now respect selected severity and decision filters, ensuring generated reports align with user-selected criteria.

• Updated bulk revision request messaging to provide clearer guidance during revision workflows.

Order and review experience improvements

• Reviewer initials and tier names are now displayed separately within Activity Log cards to improve readability.

• Message content automatically removes unnecessary leading and trailing spaces.

• Simplified lending authority option labels to improve usability and readability.

Tiering and assignment improvements

• Enhanced Get Next processing for rush orders to improve assignment prioritization.

• Improved Get Next error messaging to provide clearer feedback when assignment actions cannot be completed.

• Continued improvements to tiering logic and assignment workflows to support more consistent order routing.

Platform quality and security improvements

• Implemented additional security enhancements and vulnerability remediation to strengthen platform security and reliability.

• Continued rule analysis and optimization efforts to improve rule quality, accuracy, and overall system performance.

• Fixed a reconciliation workflow issue where reconciliation orders could inherit a reviewer without inheriting the appropriate tier assignment, resulting in missing checklist assignments.

• Fixed cross-client contamination issues affecting low-severity findings.

• Fixed remaining cross-client contamination issues affecting high-severity findings.

• Fixed an issue where checklist changes could inadvertently affect in-progress orders.

• Fixed an issue where rush orders were not consistently handled during Get Next assignment processing.

• Fixed sorting indicator behavior for ascending and descending order lists.

• Fixed rule execution and coverage issues identified through ongoing rule analysis efforts.
