Collateral Investigate November 4 production release expands support for PDF orders, ROV, custom rules, and assignment logic

The November 4, 2026 Collateral Investigate production release expands support for PDF-only orders, ROV workflows, custom rules, exports, assignment configuration, and artifact generation. It also delivers a substantial set of appraisal-rule updates and usability improvements across Orders, Findings, Associated files, Members and permissions, and the Appraisal Viewer.

What's new

Reconciliation workflow control APPMOD-12208

• A new organization-level setting allows clients to enable or disable the Reconciliation workflow. When Reconciliation is disabled, new orders cannot enter the workflow, while reconciliations already in progress can still be completed. The setting defaults to enabled to preserve existing behavior.   

Required assignment logic APPMOD-12664

• A new Force required option has been added to the Findings tab of tier configuration. When enabled, at least one of the configured rules or severities must fire for the order to be eligible for that tier. This gives clients additional control over rule-based tier assignment.

Get Next Priority APPMOD-12666

• A new Get Next Priority order flag allows authorized users to prioritize specific orders for Get Next. Flagged orders are considered before other eligible orders while still respecting normal reviewer-matching requirements. When multiple orders are flagged, the order flagged first receives priority. 

Simplified reviewer capacity settings APPMOD-12530

• Reviewer capacity configuration has been simplified. Minimum order capacity is no longer displayed when managing user profiles and defaults to zero, allowing organizations to focus on setting the reviewer’s maximum order capacity. 

What's changed or improved

Faster, more current dropdowns APPMOD-12198

• Collateral Investigate now loads dropdown data only when and where it is needed, reducing unnecessary page-load processing. Client-specific values such as newly created tiers, reviewers, findings, and rules can also appear when navigating to applicable screens without requiring a hard browser refresh. 

Revision request comments APPMOD-12420

• Revision request processing has been updated so vendors receive only the latest applicable comment for each finding rather than the entire comment history. Reviewers continue to see the full comment history within Collateral Investigate and applicable PDF artifacts.

Assignment log enhancements APPMOD-12621

• Assignment logs now provide additional visibility into tier selection by identifying the final selected tier and whether Consider with or Consider only was used. A new informational message also helps users understand the impact of combining Consider only with Force tiering in tier configuration. 

Checklist dynamic field improvements APPMOD-12658, APPMOD-12797

• Checklist dynamic fields have been improved to more accurately display appraisal information, including valuation condition and design style. Supporting UAD processing has also been updated for multi-unit square footage and comparable data to improve checklist reliability. 

Checklist dynamic field options APPMOD-12744

• The incorrectly mapped Review type field is no longer available as a Checklist dynamic field option, helping prevent users from selecting a field that does not represent the intended information. 

Finalization workflow APPMOD-12746

• After successfully finalizing an order, reviewers are now returned directly to Your queue instead of being returned to the completed Review Findings screen. 

What's fixed

APPMOD-12443: Fixed an issue where removing a filter from the Audit log could leave only a single row displayed until the page was manually refreshed. 

APPMOD-12591: Fixed an issue that prevented a tier from being successfully recreated using the name of a previously deleted tier. Recreated tiers receive current rule configuration rather than retaining outdated configuration from the deleted tier. 

APPMOD-12621: Improved assignment reporting for scenarios such as Completion Report assignment and added clearer guidance when Consider only and Force tiering are used together. 

APPMOD-12658: Fixed Checklist dynamic fields that were not displaying the expected appraisal information.

APPMOD-12797: Updated supporting UAD processing to prevent checklist failures and improve handling of multi-unit square footage and comparable numbering. 

APPMOD-12082: Corrected capitalization across applicable page titles, section titles, labels, and buttons for a more consistent user experience. 

APPMOD-12190: Improved checklist logo handling in Review Findings and Checklist Builder to prevent unnecessary errors when an expected logo file is unavailable. 

APPMOD-12538: Corrected the Word Search page title to Word search term management. 

APPMOD-12542: Fixed user-entered text containing ampersands so the& character displays correctly in findings and artifacts. 

APPMOD-12743: Fixed contact management behavior so applicable contacts can be successfully removed from an order. 

APPMOD-12752: Fixed the Checklist Last Updated column so it reflects the date of the most recent checklist update. 

APPMOD-12749: Added protections around client configuration integrity to address reported scenarios involving rule settings and checklist-to-tier associations following deployments.
