CMS production release: Custom headers, loan program data, and UAD 3.6 updates
The PROD release, scheduled for September 9, 2026, includes several key updates. Below are the details of what’s included in this release and how it supports our ongoing efforts to improve system performance and user experience. Platform enhancements
Custom outbound header configuration and management [CLCTUTD-23385]
Administrators can now configure partner-specific headers without writing custom code, supporting Direct, Apigee, and Cotality Loan Document Gateway (CLDG) integration types
Administrators can configure headers by source application (SourceApp) to deliver them only to intended integration endpoints or across all outbound requests
Administrators can now manage headers within Administration Interface, allowing them to add, edit, and remove headers using dropdown controls for SourceApp selection
The system limits custom headers to a maximum of 10 and validates keys against reserved system header terms, which blocks unsupported control characters such as tabs, line feeds, and carriage returns
The system automatically injects configured headers into outbound Application Programming Interface (API) requests at send time
The system generates log entries whenever administrators add, modify, or remove headers to support compliance and troubleshooting
Loan program added to CMS [CLCTUTD-22025]
Users can submit loan program information during initial order creation using Create Order API request and update existing orders using the update loan information API, which preserves the exact formatting, special characters, and spacing from the origination system
Loan program can be sent from origination system appraisal requests through Halogen integrations (Empower/Exchange) into the Collateral Management System (CMS), which eliminates manual data re-entry for processors and appraisers
Integration specifications now map Encompass field 1401 to CMS loan program field, defining request triggers and field behaviors for order creation and update workflows
The Order Loan tab displays the loan program as a read-only field, which allows processors and reviewers to view origination system details without navigating to external screens
Client administrators can show or hide the loan program field on the Order Loan tab using a new administrative preference setting, which lets them customize interface layouts based on operational preferences
System API documentation now covers the loan program field for order creation and update requests, including schema constraints, data types, and sample request payloads for integration developers
Platform enhancements only visible with UAD 3.6 enabled
Direct Reviewer Assignment to Investigate [APPMOD-10301]:
For clients who will determine 100% of their reviewer assignments before or outside of Investigate, we have enabled assignment transmission to Investigate. Reviewers can be assigned directly through your LOS integration or manually through the user interface, and assignments will automatically sync to Investigate. Coming soon - delivery of the CCL calculated tier to Investigate for clients using this direct reviewer assignment option.
Send Escalated Reviewer assignment to Investigate [APPMOD-10301]:
Users can now manually assign an escalated reviewer to a CMS order, and that assignment will be transmitted to Investigate.
Automatic refresh of dashboard search results [APPMOD-11699]:
Advanced search results loaded from dashboard tiles now refresh automatically when returning to the search page from an individual order, keeping your queue up to date and highlighting the order you last viewed. We also added a manual Refresh button directly to the search results table so you can update your view on demand.
CU/LCA score now available to CCL [APPMOD-11697]:
CU and LCA scores are now available for use in Command Center Live (CCL) logic for UAD 3.6 orders.
Investigate Integration Contact Optimization [APPMOD-11359]
We updated the integration logic to prevent sending contact creation requests to Investigate when an email address is missing, and to automatically sync details once the email is added.
Issue resolutions
Direct Loan Officer messaging to service providers [APPMOD-11715]
We updated messaging permissions in CMSNet to always respect when loan officers can send direct logs and messages to service providers on order files.
Dashboard quick search [APPMOD-11706]
The dashboard Quick Search now opens an order directly if the search yields a single matching result, bypassing the intermediate search results screen.
Vendor Background check review fixes [APPMOD-11691]
We fixed vendor change count display mismatches and corrected the Approve All action on the Vendor Profile Background and Resume Review screen.
