Collateral Investigate update: PDF-only orders, Reconciliation, assignment workflows, UAD processing, and rules enhancements

This October 28, 2026 Collateral Investigate Production release expands support for PDF-only orders, Reconciliation, assignment workflows, UAD processing, and appraisal rules. It also improves data synchronization, finalization, rule findings, and overall platform performance and reliability.

What's new

Reviewer assignment notifications APPMOD-12523

• Assignment processing has been enhanced to send a ReviewerAssigned event when an order is tiered, improving synchronization of reviewer assignment activity with connected platforms.

Reconciliation order information APPMOD-12500

• The Reconciliation screen now includes the Order ID and Appraiser name, making it easier to identify the appraisals involved in a reconciliation.

UAD package checks APPMOD-12572

• UAD package checks can now be enabled through configuration for applicable clients, expanding validation support for UAD appraisal submissions.

• Assignment logic has been updated for organizations using deep assignment workflows to improve how applicable orders are assigned and routed.

Appraisal data synchronization APPMOD-12474

• Processing has been improved to keep appraisal data aligned when a new submission or SSR update is received.

Workflow replay processing APPMOD-12618

• Workflow replay handling has been improved to ensure applicable rule results are saved for the platform.

Review service protection APPMOD-12205

• Additional safeguards have been introduced to strengthen separation of client-specific data within the Review service.

Performance and reliability APPMOD-12221, APPMOD-12646

• Updates to caching and front-end components improve application performance, maintainability, and overall reliability.

SSR workflow recovery APPMOD-12327

• Additional workflow support has been added to address SSR requests that become stuck during processing.

• APPMOD-12474: Fixed an issue where a new appraisal submission or SSR update could leave appraisal data out of sync.

• APPMOD-12618: Fixed an issue where workflow replay processing did not save applicable rule results for the platform.

• APPMOD-12629, APPMOD-12636: Fixed issues where applicable rule findings could return missing field-location information, including Rule 22-12-01-01 / CM-698906.

• APPMOD-12671: Fixed an issue that could result in an incorrect “order has already been created” condition for CMS.Net orders.

• APPMOD-12575 | CM-182292: Corrected identified rule behavior related to the subject bedroom count.

• APPMOD-12611 | CM-236770: Corrected identified bathroom-count adjustment behavior.

• APPMOD-12221: Additional front-end quality improvements have been completed to address identified high-priority issues.

Rules updates

This release includes rules updates focused on previously non-firing rules, adjustment calculations, NCD external data, finding information, and rule message accuracy.

Bedroom count rule

• APPMOD-12575 | CM-182292: The subject bedroom count rule has been revised to improve its evaluation of bedroom-count information.

Bathroom count adjustment rule

• APPMOD-12611 | CM-236770: The bathroom count adjustment rule has been updated to correct identified adjustment behavior.

Rule 22-12-01-01

• APPMOD-12629 | CM-698906: Rule 22-12-01-01 has been updated to address cases where field-location information could be missing from finding items.

Finding field-location improvements

• APPMOD-12636: Additional Review Engine updates address rules that could return missing field-location information within findings.

NCD External Data rules

• APPMOD-12187, APPMOD-12509: Previously non-firing NCD External Data rules have been addressed across multiple phases to improve expected rule coverage.

Sales Comparison adjustment percentage rules

• APPMOD-12516: Updates address previously non-firing rules associated with Sales Comparison Approach adjustment percentages.

Comparable Solar and Energy-Efficient rules

• APPMOD-12519: Previously non-firing rules associated with comparable solar and energy-efficient characteristics have been updated.

Comparable adjustment consistency and manufactured housing rules

• APPMOD-12520: Additional rules related to comparable adjustment consistency and manufactured-housing identifiers have been updated.

Rule message accuracy

• APPMOD-12514: Rule processing has been updated to correct variable bindings used in applicable DRL rule messages.
